How to Tell If Plastic Food Containers Are BPA-free? 
The key is to put the plastic food containers upside down. Why? There's always a recycling number on the bottom of food storage container. You can identify the type of the plastic food containers according to the number in that small triangle.

- Most BPA food containers are labeled No.7. (It's not for sure. You can call the manufacturer to verify it.)
- The one that is translucent and hard.

 Which Plastic Food Containers Are SAFE? 
- Type No. 1 -- PETE
- Type No. 2 -- HDPE
- Type No. 5 -- PP
